With 7 years of experience in the COMESA -IO region working on project management at the multi-national and regional level, Vanessa Chintedza-Ungapembe holds a Masters in International Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid from Humanitarian Aid studies Centre, in Spain and an LLB (HONS) from Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, South Africa.
Vanessa Chintedza-Ungapembe is an experienced legal development practitioner providing project management and operational support in the COMAid team for regional integration on trade issues, legal agreements and economic integration under the various African Partnerships.
Vanessa Chintedza-Ungapembe is in charge of the adaptation of EDF procedures for implementation of projects under the CAF with the aim of strengthening the institutions own frameworks to access project/grant support. She leads in the formulation of manuals and monitoring frameworks to support the project management cycle of regional projects at the national level that includes providing relevant procedures on project procurements covering tenders and contracts on services, works, supplies and grants. She provides technical support and guidance to the Member States, working closely with relevant Ministries in ensuring adherence to procedures, and achievement of objectives.
